Genmaicha is a Japanese green tea blended with roasted brown rice (genmai). Naturally low in bitterness and gently savoury, it’s smooth, comforting, and easy to enjoy any time of day.

It has antioxidants—especially EGCG—that help protect your cells, and it’s rich in L-theanine, which promotes a calm, focused energy rather than the jitters you might get from coffee.
A single 1 g scoop (used for a thin tea) delivers about 30–35 mg of caffeine—roughly a third of an espresso shot—while a 3 g scoop (for a latte) contains around 90–105 mg, ensuring a sustained lift without crashing.
What are Hojicha's health benefits?
Hojicha is naturally lower in caffeine than both coffee and matcha, making it a gentler option you can enjoy even in the evenings. Its roasted flavor is smooth, toasty, and comforting — easy to sip at any time of day. Like other green teas, it’s also packed with antioxidants, giving you both flavor and function in every cup.
How should I store my Knot teas?
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep the tin tightly shut and avoid exposing the matcha to sunlight for optimal freshness! Expiry dates can be found within the tin.
